With Memorial Day fast approaching, almost every American music lover will enjoy hearing the patriotic music presented by the Middle Georgia Concert Band (MGCB)! The Music and the Arts program at Vineville United Methodist Church will proudly present the 55-member band. The Middle Georgia Concert Band was organized in the fall of 1992 to provide opportunities for amateur musicians with high school or college music backgrounds to continue participating in music performance, rehearsals and fellowship with other musicians. The group was founded by trombonist and music educator Norman (Rocky) Short and numerous charter members who continue to perform with the group.
