Macon State graduate J.D. Money will discuss his experiences working with educational development in Cambodia in room 102 of the Charles H. Jones Building on the Macon Campus. This event, sponsored by the Honors Program, is free and open to the public.
Money, who graduated in 2009 with a bachelor’s degree in history, recently served as project coordinator for STEP (Supplemental Teaching Educational Program) in Cambodia, where he worked with young students who are plagued with educational disadvantages that have their origins in the genocide of the 1970s. Money’s presentation will appeal to anyone interested in global issues, education or the history of modern Asia.
Free and open to the public.
