An opening reception for an exhibition that showcases the importance of publicly funded and philanthropically supported organizations and initiatives that enhance the quality of life in Macon-Bibb.
At the Root is an exploration and celebration of community advocacy and social service in Central Georgia. The exhibition uses photographs and elements of visionary art to highlight the importance of publicly funded and philanthropically supported agencies that add to the quality of life in Macon-Bibb. The images shed light on the necessary, and often under-appreciated, work that many Central Georgia organizations do to help tackle poverty at the root.
