Enjoy the fiddling and picking with Sue Tomlin and Ed Morgan while touring the three story Blockhouse Replica and the archaeological dig site, which features several new exhibits and displays including the handsome new War of 1812 Bicentennial Celebration historic marker. As the 15 star spangled banner flies over the historic fort, hear Col. Benjamin Hawkins, attired in his American Revolutionary War uniform, relate how he fought the British twice and how the Second War of Independence both inspired him and despaired him and why he is so proud of how Fort Hawkins helped preserve us a nation.
