See and hear from artist Andrew Sabori and James McSweeney of the National Archives the story behind the exhibit Coming to America: The Immigrant Experience which includes a reproduction of the lost murals of Ellis Island. The exhibit also features a collection of 30 painted portraits of famous immigrants, photos from Ellis Island, and other documents.
Visitors interested in experiencing the exhibit on a deeper level and those interested in history and genealogy are invited to attend this FREE reception and live presentation from 6:30 pm – 8:00 pm on Thursday, November 1st, at the Perry Arts Center (1121 Macon Rd., Perry, GA 31069).
