Join us on First Friday for the opening reception of the new exhibit "Caught by Spirit: Works by Sharon Clabo". Clabo’s style as a painter is electic, but typically colorful, with bold strokes. Her approach to painting is playful, with inspiration ranging from her senses to history, science, and literature. While her primary medium is acrylics, she frequently incorporates stitched paper, fabric, and other materials into her paintings.
Originally from Colorado, Clabo moved to Lizella 19 years ago, where she lives on a farm and shares a studio with potter Jim Sandefur.
This exhibit will be on display until July 29. The gallery, and this event, are free and open to the public
