"East Meets West" is a real 19th-century Indian camp of Creek and Comanche tribes, where the residents dressed in full period regalia demonstrate the primitive skills and camp life of Native American culture in 1800s Wild West. See lots of real Indian artifacts on display and learn about living on the American Southern Plains. Go Native Now’s Little Big Mountain (of Comanche and Mohawk heritage) and Laura Alcorn (from the Blackfoot Confederacy) will share many aspects of Native American culture, including the lives of women and the differences between Southeastern and Plains Indians. Don’t miss this exciting, new experience at the Museum of Arts and Sciences, two days ONLY!
