Townsend School of Music at Mercer University presents a concert of holiday music featuring the Robert McDuffie Center for Strings Orchestra and Mercer’s outstanding choral ensembles on Friday, Nov. 30, and Saturday, Dec. 1, at 7p.m. at the Grand Opera House, in the heart of historic downtown Macon. World-renowned violinist and Macon native, Robert McDuffie, the founder of the McDuffie Center, hosts the event that will be taped for tv broadcast in 2013. This is a free, ticketed event.
