This workshop will cover the basic aspects of starting a nonprofit organization, including pros and cons, general characteristics, and legalities.  Participants can expect to have a clear understanding of how nonprofits operate and will have the ability to initiate and follow through on a grant proposal.

This workshop is appropriate for those who have started a nonprofit and for those who are trying to decide if starting a nonprofit is the best strategy for their projects.

Light refreshments will be served.
