Foundation Center and Middle Georgia Regional Library deliver a workshop on nonprofit and proposal writing basics.
This workshop will cover the basic aspects of starting a nonprofit organization, including pros and cons, general characteristics, and legalities. Participants can expect to have a clear understanding of how nonprofits operate and will have the ability to initiate and follow through on a grant proposal.
This workshop is appropriate for those who have started a nonprofit and for those who are trying to decide if starting a nonprofit is the best strategy for their projects.
Light refreshments will be served.
This event is free and open to the public and will be held in the Business and Nonprofit Center on the 2nd floor of Washington Memorial Library. Seating may be limited.
