Dog Days of Summer Art Event

at Monroe County Arts Alliance

 The Monroe County Arts Alliance will host the opening of the "Dog Days of Summer" Art Event by welcoming clay artist Barry Gregg from Decatur, with his awesome dog sculptures. He will be at the opening to talk to all his Middle Georgia fans. The gallery will also have pottery from Merritt Pottery, featuring dog, bowls, treat crocks and more. One stroke artist, Mary Parks will have painted windows and floor clothes for your doggie bowls and there will be additional paintings and more, all with the doggie theme. The gallery will also have a Silent Auction, refreshments will also be available, and will have doggie treats too.

Sav-A-Pet will be under the beautiful oak tree, at Forsyth Presbyterian Church, across from the gallery; hosting a Doggie Pageant with categories including: cutest dog, ugliest dog, costume contest and more. They will also he hosting a Silent Auction.

Please plan to stay on after the Arts Alliance and Save-A-Pet function for the Good Vibrations concert at 8 p.m. on the square.
