"Blanc Noir: Drawings by Ray Snyder"

Presented by The 567 Center for Renewal at The 567 Center for Renewal

This show features Ray Snyder’s pen-and-ink illustrations from a variety of publications, especially from comic books and games. Come out First Friday to check out the new exhibit and meet the artist. While many people may think of "play" when they hear "comic books and games", Snyder takes his work as an artist very seriously. He has been drawing for as long as he can remember and was classically trained by the late Houser Smith, an award-winning designer & master portraitist who taught many a Macon artist. On an average day he can be found hard at work in his studio trying to meet a deadline for any number of publications. In addition to his illustration work, he’s worked on the renovation of St. Joseph’s cathedral & the murals in the Grand Opera House. On display through September 28.
