Visit the Main Street Christmas Light Extravaganza Nov.30-Jan. 4 in downtown Macon! This annual light show spans four city blocks, extending the entire length of Poplar Street and from Poplar Street over to Cherry Street in downtown Macon.
Come to downtown Macon to enjoy the Main Street Christmas Light Extravaganza presented by Beverly Knight Olson Children’s Hospital, Navicent Health November 30 through January 4! The Main Street Christmas Light Extravaganza is brought to you by the Downtown Challenge Fund of the Community Foundation of Central Georgia, Knight Foundation, and The Peyton Anderson Foundation.
The Main Street Christmas Light Extravaganza is a feast for the eyes and ears. Hundreds of thousands of lights adorn four city blocks in the heart of downtown Macon in a rainbow of colors guaranteed to get you in the holiday spirit. The lights move in time to music arranged and composed by your very own Macon Pops featuring local artists. This is one show you won’t want to miss!
The light show kicks off on Friday, November 30 with a live concert by Macon Pops! Beginning Saturday, December 1, the lights come on every night at 6pm and stay on until 10pm. Get out of your car and stroll through candy cane lanes, illuminated arches, and twinkling trees while enjoying the shops and restaurants of downtown Macon.
