The Beall’s Hill Community Garden at Centenary Church is our annual Taste of the Garden Event, a free "Grow Your Own Food" Event for the whole family. From 3 PM – 6 PM on November 3rd, we will have food, fun, and music as we celebrate and introduce people to the garden.
Food will feature seasonal recipes that you can make with foods in the garden, with samples catered by Saralyn Collins and Good to Go. We will be giving away free gently used bicycles to children who don’t have one or who have outgrown theirs. Our friends from The Little Farm will be selling pumpkins. We will have gardeners on hand to help answer any questions as well as a home composting workshop given by Heather Bowman Cutway. Neighborhood Associations will be there to help inform folks about what’s going on and how they can attend neighborhood association meetings. Kartsen and Dentsen will be there selling gardening supplies. Local band Good Country People will perform.
Free Event, Open to Public
