Kathryn Kolb - "Composition in Nature Photography"

Presented by Georgia Nature Photographers' Association at Joel Edwards Public Library

Well known Atlanta nature photographer, Kathryn Kolb, will be the featured speaker for the Central Georgia Nature Photographers Association. Attendance is free and you do not have to be a member of GNPA to attend. The Edwards Library is located 1 mile south of the courthouse square, across the street from Pike County High School.

 

Kolb is an Atlanta freelance photographer who began her career as a photojournalist before her involvement in nature photography. She has published photographs in many magazines, including Smithsonian, Veranda, Rolling Stone, Nature Conservancy and Orion magazine.

 

Kolb’s fine art series include black & white and color photographs of landscapes and plants from diverse natural environments through out the Southeastern United States. In addition her work has been exhibited at fine art exhibitions throughout the region. She is also the founder of "Keeping It Wild", formerly a program of the Wilderness Society and now an independent non-profit organization.
