In this 6-week class, adults will learn the basics of painting with acrylics. The class will cover topics such as mixing colors, composition, and brushstrokes while practicing painting a variety of subjects. Over the course of the class, students will create three different paintings: a still life, a landscape, and a figure painting. This class is open to beginners with at least a little painting experience, as well as intermediate artists who wish to review the basics with an experienced artist. Shannon Riddle will teach the class. The cost for the class is $120 for members, $150 for non-members and includes all supplies. The class will meet on Mondays 6:30-8:30 pm, starting March 4.
