Jacqueline Osherow, poet, will read from and discuss her work as a part of the Georgia Poetry Circuit. Osherow is the author of six books of poems, including, most recently, The Hoopoe’s Crown (BOA Editions, 2005) and Whitethorn (LSU Press, 2011). After the publication of her first collection, Looking for Angels in New York, she was awarded the Witter Bynner Prize from the American Academy and Institute of Arts and Letters. She now serves as Distinguished Professor of English and Creative Writing at the University of Utah.
