Macon Flowers Project

Macon Flowers Project

Presented by Macon Arts Alliance at Mill Hill Community Arts Center

Drop-in to a spring flower making workshop to create a ceramics flower that will be part of a collaboratively made community project.

Join the Mill Hill Community Arts Center resident artists, Jeni Hansen Gard and Forrest Sincoff Gard, as they build a collection of handmade ceramic flowers. The flowers represent new growth and life. There has been a lot of positive growth in not only the Mill Hill Arts Village but all throughout Macon as well. Let’s all come together and be involved with our community and city as part of a series of free flower making workshops.

Everyone is invited! Yes you read that correct, every person who lives, works in, or has a strong connection to Macon is invited to participate in one of the workshops and make a flower that will be used to construct a collaborative public art piece. No prior skills or experience with ceramics is required. See you soon!

The center will be open every Monday from January-April from 5-6pm for flower making. We have added 3 additional days in May for those of you who haven’t had a chance to make a flower we hope you will join us!
