Learn how to get started working with clay! By learning the basics, you will realize how easy it is to make your own artistic pieces. In this 8-week class, you’ll work on a wide range of styles and techniques, including sculpting, pinch technique, coil building, and slab technique, as well different methods of decorating your clay. Artist Yen-Ting Chiu will lead the class through several different projects, such as bowls, vases, birdhouses and/or animal-shaped ring holders. Get ready to get your hands dirty!
