The Friday night Rock Candy Tour is a 1.5 hour stroll through Macon’s rocking downtown district, highlighting the bars, eateries, shops, churches, theaters and even the courthouse, where Macon’s music history took shape and lived large. It begins on the sidewalk at The Rookery on Cherry Street and ends inside historic Grant’s Lounge – "The Original Home of Southern Rock" – on Poplar Street. Cost is $10 per person and adult beverages (preferably bought at one of our downtown stops by tour guests of legal drinking age) are welcome.
