Join us for six nights of walks at the park! Park Rangers and volunteers provide information about the park history at stops along the way to the Great Temple Mound. Walk is one mile, round trip. Tickets available for purchase at the event.
In conjunction with the Ocmulgee Mounds Association we invite you to celebrate the Cherry Blossom Festival in Macon! Join us for six nights of night walks (March 27th, 28th, 29th and April 3rd, 4th, 5th). Tours begin at 7:30pm and leave every 10 minutes. The last tour leaves at 9pm.
Lanterns are available to borrow for ages 12 and up.
There are multiple stops along the way to the Great Temple Mound. Rangers and volunteers tell stories about the different time periods in the park and about those who lived here long ago.

First tour begins at 7:30pm at the Visitor Center. Tours leave every 10 minutes with the last tour leaving at 9pm. Walking the tour and returning to the Visitor Center takes 45 minutes to an hour.
