As we approach the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 11 loon landing, join expert Philip Groce to learn what we gained from that trip to the moon, and we stand to gain by going back.
This program will present everything you wanted and needed to know about the Moon. There will be discussions of such questions as: “What did we learn from going to Moon? Was it worth the cost? Should we go back to the Moon? How does the Moon affect the Earth? What would Earth be like if there were no Moon?”
Philip Groce, President, Helping Planetariums Succeed, is a planetarium design consultant who has participated as a member of the design, engineering and project management team of more than 50 new and renovated planetariums around the US, including Macon’s own planetarium at the Museum of Arts & Sciences. Currently, he is consulting on planetarium projects in California and Iceland.
