In this 6-week drawing class, you’ll gain an overview of drawing the human figure using a simple-to-follow methodology that beginning art students can be successful with. Artist Beth Smith will help you better understand drawing anatomy as you learn to draw from a semi-clothed live model. Students will be taught how to indicate shapes, shadows, lines, and textures in their figure drawings. The class will meet on Monday evenings, 6:30-8:30 pm, starting August 19. The class will not meet September 2, and the last class will be September 30. The cost is $150 for members, $180 for non-members, and includes all supplies and model fees. Ages 16 and up.
