Celebrate the installation of 3 new graffiti walls in the alleys of downtown Macon!

The 567 Center installed a graffiti wall on the side of its building last summer to provide a blank canvas for community members and artists to paint on. It became a popular spot, covered in public art that regularly is changing and evolving. Thanks to a Downtown Challenge grant through the Community Foundation of Central Georgia, The 567 Center will install 3 additional walls in various locations downtown.

Meet up at the wall in Broadway Lane, near Tubman Museum, for our grand unveiling of these new “canvases” on Thursday, September 5, 5-6 pm. Come paint the new wall with us! We’ll also leave some spray paint by the walls for a couple of hours on First Friday for anyone to use.

The locations of the new walls:
-Broadway Lane near Cherry St, between Service Loan & Tax and Tubman Musuem
-At the intersection of 3rd St Lane and Cherry St Ln, on the corner of the parking deck
-Mulberry St Lane near Third Street
