Suppressed: The Fight to Vote Film Showing and Panel Discussion

Presented by Georgia Women (And Those Who Stand With Us) at High Street Universalist Unitarian Church

“Suppressed: The Fight To Vote,” a new documentary about voter suppression in Georgia in the 2018 midterm election will be shown Sunday, Oct. 20 from 4 to 5:30 p.m. at High Street Unitarian Universalist Church, 1085 High St. followed by a panel discussion.

The free showing of the film by award-winning television, feature film and documentary filmmaker Robert Greenwald is being presented by High Street Church, Georgia Women (And Those Who Stand With Us), the Macon-Bibb Branch of the NAACP and the League of Women Voters (LWV) of Macon.

A production of Brave New Films, “Suppressed” weaves together personal stories from voters across the state of Georgia.

The film showing is open to the public. A nursery will be provided at High Street Church. Parking is available at the Washington Public Library.
