A monthly 30-minute noonday organ recital in the historic St. Joseph Catholic Church, Macon. showcasing the 53 Schlicker pipe organ. Some programs also feature vocal artists or other instrumentalists. Third Thursdays, October – May (except for March)
The December Third Thursday program features well-known tenor Dr. Richard Kosowski and organist Nelda Chapman. Dr. Kosowski is an Associate Professor of Music and Director of Graduate Studies for the Townsend School of Music at Mercer University as well as Director of the Mercer Children’s Choirs. In addition, he is Director of Music Ministries at Riverside United Methodist Church. Ms. Chapman is Organist and Director of Music at St. Joseph Catholic Church. FREE
