Kids and adults of any age are welcome to enter the bake off OR judge! Both inexperienced and experienced bakers are eligible to enter, but all baked goods must be made in a home kitchen. Contestants may work individually or with a team. (Prizes will be awarded to 1 member/team only, NOT each individual.)

Bakers:
Baker entry is free, but limited to the first 8 bakers to register on our online form here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1GOROn6wjr_9__SpAZtKQ2PRoeY2l5iDMt90wm-UGN20/edit?usp=sharing

Registrations can be done the day of the event. Check-in is between 1:20-1:45pm at Reboot Retrocade at 566 Cherry Street in Macon. Registration will close 15 minutes before judging takes place.
Participants may enter any recipe and it does not need to be an original recipe created by the entrant. Recipes may come from cookbooks, magazines, websites, or any other means.
The same dessert cannot be made by two different bakers. Please check what other dishes are being made on the sign-up sheet!

All bakers will be judged by a panel on:
– Taste
– Appearance
– Creativity

Submissions must be home cooked (not store bought). All entries are to be submitted as a whole (complete pie, complete cake, complete loaf, etc.) or in the quantity of a dozen or more. Contestants may NOT use magic, spells, or any incantations when preparing their dessert.
The top three bakers will be awarded cash pot prizes based on Judge participation.

Judges:
Judge Registration is $15 per person and includes one free Cocktail or Mocktail from the bar.

Judges may purchase tickets in advance from the Eventbrite.com page and positions are limited to the first 25 entrants!

Judges are required to taste test all entries. Each judge will complete a judging sheet which will indicate each entry’s score. Each criterion will require a score of 1 to 10 dependent on that criterion. A combined score will be calculated to indicate the final scoring placement.
