Join us to help kickoff Bike Walk Month in May!

Enjoy a free breakfast hosted by Bike Walk Macon, mingle with other biking commuters, and join Macon+Bibb County Mayor Robert Reichert for a bike ride downtown.

Hot coffee and fresh pastries will be served starting at 7:30 am at the Bike Walk Macon office (338 Poplar St). Mayor Reichert will then lead a short ride that will depart at 8:15 am from 338 Poplar St. and wind through downtown. We’ll arrive at the Government Center (700 Poplar St.) no later than 8:45 am.

Schedule:
7:30 am – Complimentary pastries and coffee, commuter mingling at Bike Walk Macon
8:00 am – Welcome from Mayor Reichert
8:15 am – Ride with us through downtown to the Macon-Bibb County Government Center

Bring your bike, helmet, and appetite! The event is open to participants of all skill levels going to work, to school, to run errands, etc. The ride will be approximately 3 miles. You can just hop on your bike and join us for breakfast even if you’re commuting a different direction and can’t ride with the Mayor.

The ride is weather permitting; no rain date is scheduled.
