Gallery West Special Father's Day Weekend Exhibit

Presented by Gallery West at Gallery West

Gallery West is pleased to announce that they are reopening on Friday June 19 and Saturday June 20 from 4 PM until 9 PM each night to exhibit 25 new photographs taken by Kirk West at the Brothers concert at Madison Square Garden on March 10. Kirk photographed all five days of rehearsals, the sound check and the concert.  The show was a tribute to the 50th anniversary of the Allman Brothers Band and the only surviving original member Jaimoe. The show sold out and people from all over the country came to see the reunited band members along with additional players added to fill out the the spots of the departed members. The band consisted of original drummer, Jaimoe, Warren Haynes on guitar and vocals, Derek Trucks on guitars, Oteil Burbridge on bass, Marc Quinones on percussion, Duane Trucks of Widespread Panic on drums (Derek’s brother and Butch’s nephew playing Butch’s drum set), Chuck Leavel on piano and vocals and Reese Wynans on organ.

Everything will be for sale and all photographs will be available to order and ship if necessary. Gift certificates will be available as well.

Kirk and Kirsten both acquired Covid-19 while in NYC. They have both tested positive for antibodies. No one else has been in the gallery so there has been no exposure to Covid-19 there.

Social Distancing will be practiced. A limited number of people will be allowed in at a time. Hand sanitizer will be provided. Masks will be required.
