Students must be 10 years old or older to participate. (any minors under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian taking the same class)
In this class you will learn the basics of working with fusible sheet glass. Each student will receive a 4″x6″ sheet of clear glass, you can use the various glass stringers, frit and colored glass to design your suncatcher. Using glue and glass cutting tools you can create your very own designs! The final step to creating your one-of-a-kind suncatcher is to place the glass into our fusing kiln and bring the temperature up to 1,250 degrees Fahrenheit to melt all of the glass together.
The heating/melting process takes several days and your pieces will be available for pickup after 1-2 weeks
All materials and tools will be provided for you.
If a class does not reach a minimum number of participants, the class will be rescheduled for the next available day.
