Big Pots on the Wheel

Ready to go bigger? Learn how to throw larger works on the wheel in this 3-week class. This class will meet Tuesdays & Thursdays, for a total of 5 classes. Students will learn how to work with 5 lbs of clay or more on the wheel, with a focus on pots. Basic throwing skills are required to take this class. Noah Miller is the instructor. The cost is $140 for non-members, $115 for members, and includes all materials and firings. Meets 6:30-8:30 pm, starting February 9. The class will not meet Feb. 23, and the last class will be Feb. 25. Register online at: http://www.the567center.org/art-classes/

For the health and safety of our customers and artists, our classes will be held under the following guidelines:

* Small class sizes: there will be no more than 6 people in a pottery class
* Social distancing: participants will sit 6 feet apart, unless they are family or live together, etc.
* Masks: students must wear masks at all times.
* Sanitation: hand sanitizer will be provided. Tools, tables, and other frequently-touched surfaces will be sanitized between classes.
* Food and beverage: with the exception of water bottles, no food or drink will be allowed in classes
* Health: participants are asked not to attend if they have a fever or other symptoms of COVID-19, or if they believe they have been exposed to COVID-19
