The Georgia Sports Hall of Fame invites you to celebrate 100 years of Negro League Baseball with a new exhibit honoring the players and teams that shaped this inspirational era of baseball history.
The Georgia Sports Hall of Fame is honoring the storied history of Black baseball and the Negro Leagues with a special focus on the players and teams from the State of Georgia from 1920 to 2020. Our exhibit looks to educate and enlighten visitors to a part of American history has been often overlooked and underappreciated.
The exhibit includes memorabilia, photos, history, and audio/video content.
The exhibit opens to the public with special hours on Friday, February 5th from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. and will thereafter be open through the month of March during our current operating hours, Thursdays – Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Opening night is FREE of charge!
