This workshop is hosted once a week for a total of four classes, each class runs for about two hours.

In this workshop, you will have a lot of practice on basic ceramic handbuilding techniques, especially the slab building technique. You learn how to create a dinnerware set through a 4- week workshop. The dinnerware set includes a plate, a bowl and a mug.

Class Dates and Hours:

Group 2 (Sundays: March 7th, 14th, 21st and 28th from 3pm-5pm)

Day 1: Plate Making Day

You will learn how to roll a thin and even clay slab and manipulate it into a plate form (circle/square).

Day 2: Bowl Making Day

The instructor will guide you how to utilize our studio templates to make a slab bowl.

Day 3: Mug Making Day

The instructor will guide you step by step on how to assemble a mug from clay slabs.

Day 4: Glazing Day

You will learn basic glazing methods to complete your own dinnerware set.
