Macon Bike Party: Spring Fling in Shirley Hills

Macon Bike Party: Spring Fling in Shirley Hills

Presented by Bike Walk Macon at 1496 Waverland Drive

Bike Party returns Thursday, March 11th at 6 pm with a Spring Fling-themed ride in the Shirley Hills neighborhood led by Visit Macon’s Steven Fulbright.

Established in 1921, the Shirley Hills neighborhood in Macon, GA is a beautiful and tranquil community. Nestled on the east side of the Ocmulgee River (affectionately called the “right side” by residents), Shirley Hills derives its name from the rolling hills that encompass it. A natural tree canopy makes it a haven for birds, wildlife, and nature lovers alike. Shirley Hills is beautiful, but it also holds stories of murder and mayhem. Join us as we explore the blooming flowers and the fantastical.
