SAVE-THE-DATE:  Make Music Day Macon Downtown Boogie is Coming!  Make Music Day International Celebration will be happening June 21, 2021 in downtown Macon, and all events are free, free, free!

About Make Music Day – Held annually on June 21 to coincide with the summer solstice.  Make Music Day is part of the international Fête de la Music taking place in more than 1,000 cities across 120 countries. The daylong, musical free-for-all celebrates music in all its forms, encouraging people to band together and play in free public concerts. Make Music Day is presented by The NAMM Foundation and coordinated by the nonprofit Make Music Alliance, and Macon, Georgia is on the map!

“Macon Make Music Day events will immerse and enthrall participants while showcasing music’s power to connect, comfort, unite and uplift.  And this year U Create Macon Bike Music Festival (BMF) has partnered with Make Music Day Macon Worldwide Celebration in making music.

Make Music Macon originated in Macon in 2017 by Gloria Stanley and growing strong thanks to Make Music Macon partnership/alliances.  COVID-19 prevented the event from outdoor events in 2020 but Macon still represented online.  And once again, Make Music Day Macon brings back “Macon’s Downtown Boogie – Where Soul Lives.”
