Storytellers Presents: Guilty featuring George Cauble

Storytellers Presents: Guilty featuring George Cauble

Presented by Storytellers Macon at Grant's Lounge

Storytellers Macon has RETURNED TO GRANT’S LOUNGE! Join us at newly renovated Grant’s Lounge for a night of drinks and socializing starting at 6:30 PM with stories starting promptly at 7 PM.
TOPIC: GUILTY
What happens when you make the wrong decision? What happens when you fall short of being the good person you always try to be? Guilt is a tricky thing. It can inspire change, push you to be a better person the next time around. Or it can be hidden away, a festering secret that you hope will never be discovered.
This month we’re asking you to share a story about guilt. Were you the one in the wrong, carrying the burden of guilt on your shoulders, or was it someone else? Tell us all about it and spare no detail.
A word for our attendees: Please note that stories are uncensored and will only be interrupted for hate speech.

Our featured storyteller of the month is Georga Cauble. George was born and raised in Acworth, Georgia. He received a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting and Taxes from Emory University in 1977. George retired after working thirty-nine years for H&R Block. His Storytelling career began with Storytellers Macon in June 2018. Since then, he has been a featured Storyteller on the Creek Radio and serves as Treasurer on the executive board. He has been the “sign-up guy” for over two and a half years. George has also written over a hundred short stories and is well over 70,000 words into his memoir. He is currently balancing his writing and storytelling with remodeling the family home in Acworth and standing guard over his six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren in the middle Georgia area
