But nobody can do it on their own, and this Storytellers Macon: Live at the Douglass is about the supporting characters. Who do we turn to when our burdens get too heavy? Who can take the reins when we fall short? A series of everyday Maconites will reveal their inner selves in the art of live storytelling, part of a series that “can shock and shake you to your core” (Middle Georgia Times).

Storytellers Macon is on a mission to make sure every voice matters through the art of personal storytelling. In this show, hear distinct and distinguished perspectives. From artists to public officials, bureaucrats to activists, we explore how the lessons of one moment can shape who we are.
