Jeri Warhaftig is based in NJ and has been working with glass for almost 30 years. She is the author of two books about glass beadmaking and has taught glass beadmaking and glass casting in venues around the world. Her work has been shown in galleries and museums and two of her pieces are part of the International Society of Glass Beadmakers Presidents Collection at the Corning Museum of Glass. Jeri is coming to Macon to work with Bryan on vessels and styles that will be part of a residency at the hot shop at the Pittsburgh Glass Center in January 2023.

Starting Monday and working through Wednesday Jeri will be working with our glassblower Bryan Beck in testing and prototyping glass pieces which will help guide her work while holding an Artist Residency at Pittsburgh Glass Center in January.

Jeri will also work at the torch and make colorful playful beads that will be donated to Beads of Courage, a charity that helps seriously ill children use beads as a medium that helps them express and grapple with their medical experiences Wednesday morning.
