Join us for the 2nd annual Macon Witches Float on the Ocmulgee River. Conjure up your best costumes and spells, and come dressed ready to cackle your way down the river with your coven. Ditch your broomsticks for paddles and bring your non-motorized floatation device.
Don’t own one? No problem! You can rent from Ocmulgee Outdoor Expeditions.

Non-refundable EARLY BIRD REGISTRATION STARTS MAY 1st $15 per adult, $5 for kids16 and under and is open until July 31.

GENERAL REGISTRATION AUG 1st-OCT 1st $30 per adult, $10 for kids.

DAY OF REGISTRATION $35 per adults, $15 per kids.

A portion of proceeds will benefit Macon Periods Easier.

WHEN: Sunday, October 9, 2022. Check in is from 2:00-3:00 PM, and witches will enchant the water together at 3:00. Float down the Oxbow and your magical shuttle will appear at the Bragg Jam South River access to take you back. The final shuttle back to the start point leaves at 5:30.

WHERE: Amerson River Park Jay Hall Memorial Canoe Launch at the North end.

WHY: This fundraising event is sponsored by ABC Breathe, and proceeds will benefit Macon Periods Easier. Bring a feminine product donation for Macon Periods Easier the day of the event, and your name will be entered to to win spell binding prizes like a free paddle excursion from Ocmulgee Outdoor Expeditions, ($120 value!)

Float at your own risk. Event is weather permitting. There will be no lifeguard on duty. Participants are required to follow all Park Rules and regulations. Registration is online. Required check-in is from 2 to 3 PM on the day of the event. Event begins at 3:00. The journey may take up to two hours, and the last shuttle leaves the south river access at 5:30. Plan accordingly.

ONLINE Registrants will receive wrist bands, goodie bags, and ticket for COMPLIMENTARY witches brew at the Society Garden served after the event.
