The Georgia Industrial Children’s Home will hold the 11th annual Dinner in the Orchard event! Spring is a beautiful time for an evening outdoors with music surrounded by friends. You are cordially invited to the idyllic southern setting of our Georgia Industrial Children’s Home pecan orchard on Saturday, May 13th, 2023 for Dinner in the Orchard, featuring a live concert by the Macon Pops 7-piece band! Patterned after the charm of a lovely evening picnic concert at Atlanta’s Chastain Park, Dinner in the Orchard will start with cocktail hour & hors d’oeuvres. Next, you may enjoy pairing a fine wine with your gourmet picnic spread, curated by Fountain of Juice. Then, dance the night away to the musical stylings of the Macon Pops 7-piece band, playing all our favorite pop songs from across the decades. All proceeds will go to benefit the Georgia Industrial Children’s Home.

Timeline for the Evening:

6:00PM – Cocktail Hour – complimentary wine and beer

6:00PM-8:30PM – Silent Auction

7:00PM- Gourmet Picnic Dinner * – catered by Fountain of Juice and includes: chicken salad, pimento cheese, a chicken finger skewer with dipping sauce, fruit, pasta, salad, crackers, bread, and a brownie and blondie bite.

7:00PM-9:00PM – Macon Pops 7-Piece Band
