Come out and celebrate the Christmas season with Forsyth Main Street on Monday, November 10, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.! Our historic downtown square will be full of holiday spirit as Forsyth celebrates its annual tree lighting. The festivities will kick off at 5:30 when the Monroe County Public Library presents a FREE showing of “How the Grinch Stole Christmas” at the Rose Theater. Afterwards, get the kids picture taken with Santa (bring your own camera) and enjoy caroling and dancing. This family-friendly event is free to the public and takes place on North Jackson St., between Forsyth City Hall and the Monroe County Courthouse.
