Pretty in Pink (1986) is a John Hughes film about love and social cliques in American high schools starring Molly Ringwald, Andrew McCarthy, Jon Cryer, Annie Potts and James Spader.

The film, written and produced by John Hughes, is commonly referred to as one of the “Brat Pack’ films. As with other Hughes films, Pretty in Pink featured a soundtrack composed mostly of post-punk, new wave music. The film’s soundtrack has been rated as one of the best in modern cinema and Rolling Stone named it one of “The 25 Greatest Soundtracks of All Time.”

Andrew McCarthy, who portrays Blane will be doing a Q&A prior to the screening.
