September 9, 2016 will mark the 75th birthday of one of Macon’s favorite sons, the legendary Otis Redding. In recognition of this historic occasion, the Redding Estate and the Otis Redding Foundation will host Celebrating 75 years of Otis Redding, a weekend of events held in Otis’ hometown of Macon, GA on September 9-11, 2016.
