The Cannonball House, named for damage sustained during the War Between the States, was built in 1853 as a planter’s townhouse. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, it is an example of authentic Greek Revival architecture.

Furnished entirely to the 1853 period, you will see fine furniture, an English garden and a quaint two story kitchen built of handmade brick, which also served as the servant’s quarters for the House. A Civil War military collection features uniforms, flags and weapons used by Georgians during the War.
