Young Pan
Date created: Sep 26, 2023
“Young Pan is the spritely embodiment of youth and vigor. Standing in the fountain designed by Robert W. Brown, Young Pan is the carefree spirit of woods and fields, freely splashing in his pool surrounded by a pine grove.”
When it is placed in the fountain the curator says it will appear to be skipping through the water.
Condition: Good- The statue was removed from the fountain because it was pushed over by vandals one night.
Funded By: Gift of the Middle Georgia Art Association and the artist.
Condition as of 2014: Good. A little bit of water errosion, but other wise in good condition as it sits in the middle of a pond
