First Sundays on the Fisk: Dr. John Cummins

First Sundays on the Fisk features performers from our community, region, nation and the world, Walnut Street Music presents a new recital series, First Sundays on the Fisk. Every first Sunday of the month,WSM will offer an organ recital beginning at 5:30pm. These recitals give the listener an opportunity to hear vast ranges of repertoire one might not hear during a Sunday service. Christ Church (Episcopal) houses on the nations prized pipe organs boasting over 2000 pipes.

March’s concert for First Sundays on the Fisk will feature by Dr. John Cummins who is Organist/Choirmaster at St Paul’s Episcopal Church in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. He is the artistic director of the St Paul’s concert series. He holds degrees from the University of Alabama and the University of Rochester’s Eastman School of Music.
