The Choral Society of Middle Georgia and the Mercer University Choir will present Handel’s Messiah on December 7 and 8 at Mulberry Street United Methodist church. Performance will be at 7:30 P.M. each night.

Macon, GA — Hallelujah! Hallelujah! George Friederic Handel’s Messiah has been celebrated as a musical tradition of the Advent and Christmas season since its first performance in London, England in 1742. This year, the Choral Society of Middle Georgia, the Mercer University Choir and orchestra under the baton of Dr. Stanley L. Roberts, will once again present two performances of this masterwork here in Macon.
