Macon Film Guild

The Macon Film Guild offers screenings of recently released films, usually by independent American or foreign directors, which the Middle Georgia audience would not typically have access to at a mainstream commercial theatre. The Macon Film Guild has enjoyed a successful eleven-year history. Recent screenings have included films by such illustrious directors as Roman Polanski, Werner Herzog, Terrence Malick, Pedro Almodovar, Jane Campion and Mike Leigh. Currently, once a quarter the Guild additionally screens a documentary film which has received accolades in the press.
