Join a Park Ranger for one of the special Archaeology Ranger Programs in honor of Archaeology Month! See the 1930s park film and walk to some of the outside features!
May is Archaeology month!
Join us for one of the two Ranger programs given either Saturday, May 18th or Saturday, May 25th from 2pm-3pm.
The programs will begin in the Visitor Center at 2pm with a short presentation (including footage from the original park orientation film in the 1930s) but the majority of the program will be outside (weather-dependent).
Visitors will walk about a mile as the Ranger guides them to the Earth Lodge, the Cornfield Mound, the Paleoindian site, the railroad bridge, and the British Trading Post site while discussing the largest archaeological dig in United States history.
