Laurie Gentry

Laurie Gentry is a full-time student at Georgia College and State University working towards a BFA and a minor in psychology (Milledgeville, GA, 2021). Her preferred mediums include printmaking, painting, and photography. Laurie is passionate about creating artworks that benefit others and communities in various ways. She has been involved in many community art projects during her career as an artist, such as murals for Georgia College and State University, murals for The Milledgeville/ Baldwin County Habitat for Humanity, and prints for the United Nations Global Art Exchange with Cameroon.

Emily Gómez

Visual Artist: Photography

Emily J. Gómez is originally from Bloomfield Hills, Michigan. She earned her B.A. in Fine Arts with a concentration in photography from Loyola University Chicago, and her MFA with Distinction from the University of Georgia. She is a professor of photography at Georgia College in Milledgeville, Georgia. Her interests lie in finding awe-inspiring landscapes, often while contemplating their complicated histories of human habitation. Among her accomplishments are a National Endowment for the Arts Grant for a Distinguished Fellowship at the Hambidge Center for the Creative Arts and Sciences, and published photographs in the books Platinum and Palladium Photographs: Technical History, Connoisseurship, and Preservation, as well as Platinotype: Making Photographs in Platinum and Palladium with the Contemporary Printing-Out Process by Pradip Malde with Mike Ware.

9th Gutta

9th Gutta a.k.a. King Picassos is an Outlaw Country/ Hip-Hop artist from Macon, Ga. Gutta began his music career as a “backpacker” and conscious rapper but eventually, through his love of Country and Rock music became the Hip-Hop Outlaw we know today. His sound fuses Hip-Hop, Country, Rock, Soul and Blues to create a tapestry of Southern sound unique to its curator. 9th Gutta is a founding member of the Macon-based music collective, The Madvocates, and he is the founder and C.E.O. of indie record label CoLLective Entertainment. Artists on the label include Hip-Hop artist Rick Battle, alternative artist David Adams, R&B artist and singer Ryan Mathis as well as up-and-coming singer Syd Jordan who features on 9th Gutta’s latest single “Burn It Down”. Notable features include Midwest standouts Jelly Roll and Brabo Gator.
