Jamie Adams

I create blown glass sculptures using references to nature and biology. My art combines layers of solid sculpted molten glass to form a body of work that juxtaposes great beauty with mundane objects. In developing my skill set I use opportunities when working to create public and educational demonstrations to share the ancient art of glassblowing across the United States. My work is introspective and environmentally oriented but also process focused and has a wow factor that comes from the inherent fluid nature of glass. Custom sculptures start at $600 and smaller work can currently be found at The 567 Center for Renewal gallery in downtown Macon.
